Literacy and Mapping Projects

We will be using Google Maps and EditGrid to create a multi-user interactive map.

  1. After reading your chapter identify the location where the story is taking place.
  2. Use online mapping tools like Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) to find the actual location, or as close as you can come and get the latitude and longitude in decimal form (for more information and instructions on how to do this).
  3. Click on the Online Spreadsheet to go to the table where you can add the next point to map. You will need to add a name for your point, a general description or quote from the book and the latitude and longitude.
